Fashion and Camera's

Maggie Gylenhaal

Today is another cloudy and dreary pre-spring day. I'm a bit sad because my trusty camera has broken mysteriously while sitting in my purse and I am struggling to fix it. I really want to get out in the world and photograph all of the fun spring fashion there is to be had out there. What to do? What to do?
Needless to say, I'm in the market for a bigger and better camera than my good old tiny Kodak.
This time around I'm hoping to get my hands on a more professional grade photo taker :)
I'm pretty clueless about these things though, any suggestions?
I've found a few of these on Amazon...wondering if they are good or not.
Nikon Coolpix L110 12.1MP Digital Camera with 15x Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD (Black)
Nikon CoolPix L110
Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 9.1MP Digital Camera with 20x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization and 3.0 Inch LCD
Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 (a bit pricey for me $304.95)

Anyway, I hope to get a replacement soon as well as some more cute vintage dresses in my store.
I just discovered a store online called Ruche they sell eco friendly and vintage inspired clothing.
I'm most definitely planning on buying a few out fits from their store.
Here are two of my favorite dresses.

Bold Glamour's First Photo Shoot.

Hello my wonderful readers! After being away from my computer last week, I am back with lots to share. Last weekend, we had our very first photo-shoot. I'm very grateful for my wonderful friends Mark and Annie for photographing and modeling my vast collection of wedding and vintage merchandise.
We had a great time doing it. Hopefully this will be the first of many more photo-shoots to come, especially with Spring quickly approaching, we can move outdoors!!! Please let us know what you think and comment on your favorites!
Almost everything we photographed is up for sale so check out or my e-bay store (most items are on my e-bay store right now) if you see something you absolutely must have! As part of the philosophy here at Bold Glamour, a percentage of sales at our e-bay store will be donated to City of Hope, an innovative biomedical research, treatment and educational institution, dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer and other life-threatening diseases, guided by a compassionate patient-centered philosophy, and supported by a national foundation of humanitarian philanthropy.

There is a lot to feast your eyes on.
